In our forest of Waipoua “Tane mahuta”,thegod of forest welcomes you. Experience this Giant tree, which has been handedover from the ancient Gondwana Continental period to the present day. We invite you to enjoy a conversation with the forest’s voiceless voices.
This is a 3-day trip to Hokianga and Waipoua Forest.The tour is called Kupe's path of Maori legend. You can experienced deep Maori culture and Ancient nature.
Hokianga, there are Maori culture still rooted in their way of life and they live in harmony with nature. In Waipoua Forest, you will be greeted by Tane Mahuta, a giant 2000-year-old Giant Kauri tree, which is respected by the Maori as the Load of the Forest. Experience Maori culture and the ancient natural forest in these three days.The highlight of day 1 is a visit to Manae ( Interractive story telling place ) , a local Maori guide will take you through Maori culture and history, along with the legend of Kupe the Navigator. A Maori cultural experience will take place on the second day. Enjoy making of traditional Maori medicines using natural plants such as Kawakawa Balm or Kumarahou Tea. In the evening, a local Maori guide will take you on a Tour Twilight Waipoua Forest Tour. Enjoy a conversation with the voiceless forest.Return to Auckland via Paihia on the last day. You can extend your stay in Paihia if you wish.

DAY 1
08:00 - Leave Auckland
13:00 - Arrive Hokianga . Enjoy picnic lunch.
15:00 - Visit "Manae " Interactive story telling place ( duration 2 hours )
19:00 - Sunset Dinner at The Heads Hokianga.
20:30 - Stay at Hotel
DAY 2
07:30 - Breakfast at hotel.
09:00 - Join " Ronga Maori "( ex : Maori Medicine Making )
12:00 - PM Free
17:15 - Waipoua Forest Twilight Tour ( duration 3 hours )
20:30 - A Heartwarmimg Dine at Hotel.
22:00 - Stay at Hotel.
DAY 3
07:30 - Breakfast at hotel.
10:30 - Leave for Paihia.
12:00 - Arrive at Paihia.
13:35 - Leave for Auckland by Greatsights Bus.
17:45 - Arrive in Auckland.

-Outside 30 Days from date of departure : none.
-Between 29 – 14 from date of departure : 50% of full fare.
--Between 13 days of date of departure : 100% of full fare.
