In the afternoon, we make our way to Omaha Beach — famous for its soft white sand and crystal-clear waters — the perfect spot to stroll, breathe in the ocean air, and take stunning photos. After soaking in the coastal views, we stop at a popular local gelato shop to indulge in rich, handcrafted Italian-style gelato made from quality ingredients.
To complete the trip, we visit the Honey Centre, where you can taste and shop for unique New Zealand-made honey products before returning to Auckland.

10:00 – Depart Auckland for Matakana
11:00 – Explore Parry Kauri Park
11:45 – Arrive at Matakana Village
13:10 – Relax at Omaha Beach
13:40 – Gelato Time at local gelato shop
14:20 – Honey Centre Visit
15:30 – Return to Auckland

For the most enjoyable experience, we recommend that you bring-

- Lightweight jacket (in winter) or sun hat (in summer)
- Bring some pocket money if you feel like shopping. The artisan vendors offer an amazing range of products, but many cannot accept electronic payment such as credit cards.

Booking
- A minimum of 2 adults must be attending the tour for the tour to take place.
- Application for a tour must be made by phone, fax or e-mail no later than 5:00 PM of the day before the tour.
- Your application may not be accepted if the tour is full, prior to your booking.
- Hobbiton Movie Set is closed on Christmas Day.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations and refunds are based on the working day we receive your request. Please note that requests must must be received before 5 PM ( NZT ) to be processed on that working day.
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the tour start time are free of charge.
- Cancellations made between 72 and 48 hours before the tour start time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start time will be charged the full tour fee.
- If you are not present at the specified pick-up location at the departure time, the tour must depart without you.
- No refunds will be made after travel has commenced.
- Refunds for Paypal payments do not include card fees ( 3% ) as per Paypal terms & conditions.
The above cancellation policy may have exceptions for certain tours, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
Tour Costs
- If there are two adults attending the tour, the cost of the tour written is the cost for one person.
- If there are two adults attending the tour, children ( aged 5~11 ) will cost half of what is written.
